Everyday runs, short ones included
Tienen station, the market, the doctor, school, visiting family: most of our work is five to fifteen kilometres between Hoegaarden, Boutersem, Kumtich, Vissenaken, Oplinter, Hakendover and Neerlinter. A short ride is never a problem.
The driver comes to the door, gives a hand with the shopping or the walking frame, and sets you down where you actually need to be — not at the nearest bus stop.
The villages the bus serves badly
Around Zoutleeuw, Linter, Glabbeek, Kortenaken, Bekkevoort, Geetbets and Tielt-Winge the bus is rare and stops early. That is exactly where we drive, evenings and weekends included.
For repeat journeys — dialysis, physio, school — we fix a standing time, and it is usually the same driver who turns up.
