This policy explains how TIENSE TAXI collects and processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

When you make a booking, we collect the information needed to process your ride: name, contact details (email, phone), pickup and drop-off addresses, date and trip details. This data is kept for as long as necessary to deliver the service and comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

Google Calendar (optional sync)

Professional accounts (taxi-brand dispatch or Taxidata Fleet subscribers) may voluntarily connect their own Google account so planned rides appear in Google Calendar. We request only Google’s “calendar.events” scope (create, update and delete calendar events) and the email address of the connected Google account, to identify the connection. We do not use Google Calendar to read, analyse or export personal calendar content beyond the events Taxidata creates. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely, linked only to your Taxidata user account, and used solely to publish or remove ride events that concern you. Fleet rides for a subscriber sync only to calendars of users in that company (Fleet partners) — never to taxi-brand admin calendars. Immediate “live” rides are not pushed to the calendar. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the dashboard; we then delete the stored tokens. Disconnecting does not automatically delete events already created in your Google Calendar — you may remove them manually or contact us. Legal basis: performance of the contract / legitimate interest of the professional who enables the feature, plus explicit Google OAuth consent.

Cookies and analytics

With your consent, we use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the site is used and improve it. No tracking cookie is set until you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button below.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, as well as to object to and restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@taxidata.be. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).
