The Atomium without the parking hassle
Parking at the Heysel is the problem, not the drive there. During a fair at Palais 12, a concert or a match, car park C and the surrounding streets are full, one-way systems ring the esplanade, and you pay a day rate only to end up walking anyway. We come in via the R0 and the A12 to the drop-off zone by the Atomium or the entrance to Mini-Europe, then drive away — no parking charges, no low-emission zone to check, no laps around the block. From Tienen and the Hageland, allow about an hour via the E40 and the Ring; from Brussels Airport it's usually half an hour.
Many of our rides to the Heysel are couples and small groups combining the Atomium with a flight: a visit in the morning, luggage at midday, then on to Brussels Airport or Charleroi. We plan that as a single assignment — bags stay in the car or we collect them from the hotel, and the driver tracks your flight number so a delay doesn't become a problem. For the return we agree a concrete spot at the foot of the spheres or on the Bruparck side, because the esplanade as an event empties out is no place to look for someone. Everything is on the confirmation: time, pick-up point, final address and price.

- Is the price fixed?
