Tienen, the heart of the Hageland

Tienen is our base: we drive here every day, between the Grote Markt, the Veemarkt, the station and the hospital. A pick-up in Grimde, on the Aarschotsesteenweg or in a side street off the Sint-Truidensesteenweg needs no directions — the driver simply turns up.

For Brussels and Zaventem we take the E40; towards Sint-Truiden and Hasselt we follow the N3, to Hannut the N64, and to Diest or Jodoigne the N29. When traffic backs up around Bertem and Leuven we deliberately leave a quarter of an hour earlier: a missed flight costs far more than a little waiting time.

The outlying villages belong to it just as much: Hakendover, Kumtich, Vissenaken, Oplinter, Goetsenhoven, Bost and Oorbeek. And if you get in at Hoegaarden, Landen or Sint-Truiden, it is the same number and the same fixed price.
