By booking our services through our website, email, or telephone, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>1. Booking Agreement<\/h2>\n <p>By booking a service through our website (tiensetaxi.be), email, or telephone, you enter into a contract with TIENSE TAXI, subject to these terms and conditions. You must provide accurate information for your booking, including pickup times, addresses, and contact information.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>2. Services and Rates<\/h2>\n <p>Our standard rates are based on private transportation. Passengers travel with their booked party directly to their destination without unscheduled stops unless agreed otherwise. Quoted prices are generally fixed for the booked service. Any deviations may incur additional charges (see Point 7).<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>3. Payment<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Payment should typically be made in cash to the driver. Other payment methods may be accepted if agreed upon at the time of booking.<\/li>\n <li>Full payment is required at the beginning of the ride if booked as such.<\/li>\n <li>Upon request, a payment receipt can be provided by the driver.<\/li>\n <li>Invoices, if applicable (e.g., for corporate accounts or pre-arranged services), will generally be sent after the service.<\/li>\n <li>Failure to pay an invoice within 14 days of the invoice date will result in a surcharge of 15% of the outstanding amount (with a minimum surcharge of \u20ac25).<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>4. Cancellations by the Customer<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Cancellations made <strong>less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours<\/strong> before the scheduled pickup time will incur a charge of 50% (half) of the total agreed amount.<\/li>\n <li>Cancellations made <strong>less than 24 hours<\/strong> before the scheduled pickup time will incur a charge of 100% (the full amount) of the agreed-upon fare.<\/li>\n <li>For other cancellations (i.e., more than 48 hours in advance), a fixed administrative fee of \u20ac25 will be charged.<\/li>\n <li>To cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible by email at info@tiensetaxi.be or by phone.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>5. Booking Modifications by the Customer<\/h2>\n <p>If you need to modify your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate your request, subject to availability and potential price adjustments. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, subject to the cancellation policy in Point 4.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>6. Airport Pickups, Flight Delays & Waiting Times<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>If your booking is for an airport pickup, we endeavor to monitor flight schedules. However, it is your responsibility to inform TIENSE TAXI immediately if your flight is delayed by more than 30 minutes so that necessary arrangements can be attempted.<\/li>\n <li>Our standard price for airport pickups includes up to <strong>1 hour of free waiting time<\/strong> from the actual landing time of your flight (if flight details were provided and acknowledged for monitoring) or from the agreed pickup time.<\/li>\n <li>If the driver has to wait for more than this included 1 hour, an additional waiting time fee of \u20ac30 per hour (charged at \u20ac7.50 per started 15-minute increment) may apply.<\/li>\n <li>Waiting times caused by customers for non-airport pickups may also be subject to charges.<\/li>\n <li>The designated meeting point (if any, for airport\/station pickups) will be communicated at the time of booking or prior to travel.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>7. Deviations from Standard Service & Additional Charges<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Deviations from our standard service (e.g., extra stops, detours, extended waiting times not covered under Point 6, special requests) can be arranged by mutual agreement, and additional charges may apply.<\/li>\n <li>The customer will receive a clear overview of these additional costs in advance, where possible.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>8. Transportation Responsibility<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>While transportation is primarily the responsibility of the customer to plan, TIENSE TAXI will make every reasonable effort to ensure timely arrival at the destination.<\/li>\n <li>TIENSE TAXI cannot be held responsible for delays, disruptions, or incidents beyond our direct control (e.g., severe traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, extreme weather conditions, instructions from authorities).<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>9. Delays, Changes, and Cancellations by TIENSE TAXI<\/h2>\n <p>TIENSE TAXI cannot be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances. However, we will make every effort to prevent such situations and provide suitable alternatives whenever possible, or inform you promptly.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>10. Customer Conduct & Vehicle Condition<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. The driver may refuse transport to anyone whose behavior poses a threat or nuisance.<\/li>\n <li>Costs incurred for damage to the vehicle or soiling caused by the customer will be charged. An immediate payment of \u20ac50 must be made to the driver for soiling incidents requiring cleaning, with further charges potentially invoiced for significant damage.<\/li>\n <li>Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted in our vehicles.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>11. Luggage<\/h2>\n <p>Customers should inform us at the time of booking about excessive or oversized luggage. We reserve the right to refuse transport of items not declared if they compromise safety or vehicle capacity, or to apply a surcharge if a larger vehicle is required.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>12. Child Seats<\/h2>\n <p>Child seats, booster seats, and maxi-cosi are available free of charge upon request at the time of booking and are subject to availability. Please inform us in advance if you require any of these accommodations.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>13. Seatbelt Policy<\/h2>\n <p>Wearing a seatbelt is legally required in Belgium. Passengers are responsible for complying with this policy.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>14. Contact Information<\/h2>\n <p>We require a mobile phone number where customers can be reached for practical purposes concerning the booking. If a passenger is unreachable by phone after landing (for airport pickups) or at the agreed pickup time, the driver will wait for a maximum of 1 hour (as per Point 6), after which the booking may be considered a \"no-show\" and charges may apply according to the cancellation policy.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>15. Minimum Service Duration<\/h2>\n <p>For any contract entered into with the driver, particularly for hourly hires or specific arrangements, the renter acknowledges that a minimum service duration (e.g., 3 hours) may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking if applicable.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>16. Holiday Rates & Last-Minute Bookings<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Our regular rates may not apply during specific holiday periods (e.g., Christmas and New Year). Please inquire about specific rates during these periods.<\/li>\n <li>Last-minute bookings (e.g., made the day before or on the same day of travel) may incur an additional surcharge, which may be included in any online price calculation or communicated at the time of booking.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>17. Complaints<\/h2>\n <p>Any complaints regarding invoices must be submitted in writing by registered letter within 7 days of the invoice date. For other service-related complaints, please contact TIENSE TAXI (e.g., by email to info@tiensetaxi.be) as soon as possible with all relevant details.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>18. Non-Payment (Invoiced Services)<\/h2>\n <p>In the event of non-payment of an invoice on the due date, an interest of 1% per month on the outstanding amount will be charged automatically without prior notice, in addition to any surcharges mentioned in Point 3.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>19. Data Protection<\/h2>\n <p>Personal data collected is used for providing our services and communication related to your booking. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy (if available on tiensetaxi.be).<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>20. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.<\/li>\n <li>Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgium.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>21. Amendments<\/h2>\n <p>TIENSE TAXI reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Other payment methods may be accepted if agreed upon at the time of booking.<\/li>\n <li>Full payment is required at the beginning of the ride if booked as such.<\/li>\n <li>Upon request, a payment receipt can be provided by the driver.<\/li>\n <li>Invoices, if applicable (e.g., for corporate accounts or pre-arranged services), will generally be sent after the service.<\/li>\n <li>Failure to pay an invoice within 14 days of the invoice date will result in a surcharge of 15% of the outstanding amount (with a minimum surcharge of \u20ac25).<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>4. Cancellations by the Customer<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Cancellations made <strong>less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours<\/strong> before the scheduled pickup time will incur a charge of 50% (half) of the total agreed amount.<\/li>\n <li>Cancellations made <strong>less than 24 hours<\/strong> before the scheduled pickup time will incur a charge of 100% (the full amount) of the agreed-upon fare.<\/li>\n <li>For other cancellations (i.e., more than 48 hours in advance), a fixed administrative fee of \u20ac25 will be charged.<\/li>\n <li>To cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible by email at info@tiensetaxi.be or by phone.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>5. Booking Modifications by the Customer<\/h2>\n <p>If you need to modify your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate your request, subject to availability and potential price adjustments. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking, subject to the cancellation policy in Point 4.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>6. Airport Pickups, Flight Delays & Waiting Times<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>If your booking is for an airport pickup, we endeavor to monitor flight schedules. However, it is your responsibility to inform TIENSE TAXI immediately if your flight is delayed by more than 30 minutes so that necessary arrangements can be attempted.<\/li>\n <li>Our standard price for airport pickups includes up to <strong>1 hour of free waiting time<\/strong> from the actual landing time of your flight (if flight details were provided and acknowledged for monitoring) or from the agreed pickup time.<\/li>\n <li>If the driver has to wait for more than this included 1 hour, an additional waiting time fee of \u20ac30 per hour (charged at \u20ac7.50 per started 15-minute increment) may apply.<\/li>\n <li>Waiting times caused by customers for non-airport pickups may also be subject to charges.<\/li>\n <li>The designated meeting point (if any, for airport\/station pickups) will be communicated at the time of booking or prior to travel.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>7. Deviations from Standard Service & Additional Charges<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Deviations from our standard service (e.g., extra stops, detours, extended waiting times not covered under Point 6, special requests) can be arranged by mutual agreement, and additional charges may apply.<\/li>\n <li>The customer will receive a clear overview of these additional costs in advance, where possible.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>8. Transportation Responsibility<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>While transportation is primarily the responsibility of the customer to plan, TIENSE TAXI will make every reasonable effort to ensure timely arrival at the destination.<\/li>\n <li>TIENSE TAXI cannot be held responsible for delays, disruptions, or incidents beyond our direct control (e.g., severe traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, extreme weather conditions, instructions from authorities).<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>9. Delays, Changes, and Cancellations by TIENSE TAXI<\/h2>\n <p>TIENSE TAXI cannot be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances. However, we will make every effort to prevent such situations and provide suitable alternatives whenever possible, or inform you promptly.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>10. Customer Conduct & Vehicle Condition<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. The driver may refuse transport to anyone whose behavior poses a threat or nuisance.<\/li>\n <li>Costs incurred for damage to the vehicle or soiling caused by the customer will be charged. An immediate payment of \u20ac50 must be made to the driver for soiling incidents requiring cleaning, with further charges potentially invoiced for significant damage.<\/li>\n <li>Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted in our vehicles.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>11. Luggage<\/h2>\n <p>Customers should inform us at the time of booking about excessive or oversized luggage. We reserve the right to refuse transport of items not declared if they compromise safety or vehicle capacity, or to apply a surcharge if a larger vehicle is required.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>12. Child Seats<\/h2>\n <p>Child seats, booster seats, and maxi-cosi are available free of charge upon request at the time of booking and are subject to availability. Please inform us in advance if you require any of these accommodations.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>13. Seatbelt Policy<\/h2>\n <p>Wearing a seatbelt is legally required in Belgium. Passengers are responsible for complying with this policy.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n \n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>14. Contact Information<\/h2>\n <p>We require a mobile phone number where customers can be reached for practical purposes concerning the booking. If a passenger is unreachable by phone after landing (for airport pickups) or at the agreed pickup time, the driver will wait for a maximum of 1 hour (as per Point 6), after which the booking may be considered a \"no-show\" and charges may apply according to the cancellation policy.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>15. Minimum Service Duration<\/h2>\n <p>For any contract entered into with the driver, particularly for hourly hires or specific arrangements, the renter acknowledges that a minimum service duration (e.g., 3 hours) may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking if applicable.<\/p>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>16. Holiday Rates & Last-Minute Bookings<\/h2>\n <ul>\n <li>Our regular rates may not apply during specific holiday periods (e.g., Christmas and New Year). Please inquire about specific rates during these periods.<\/li>\n <li>Last-minute bookings (e.g., made the day before or on the same day of travel) may incur an additional surcharge, which may be included in any online price calculation or communicated at the time of booking.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/section>\n\n <section class=\"tc-section\">\n <h2>17. Complaints<\/h2>\n <p>Any complaints regarding invoices must be submitted in writing by registered letter within 7 days of the invoice date.
