Tervuren (Nederlands: [tɛrˈvyːrə(n)] , Frans: Tervuren) is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in the Flemish region of Belgium. The municipality comprises the villages of Duisburg, Tervuren proper, Vossem and Moorsel. On 1 January 2006, Tervuren had a sum population of 20,636. The total Place is 32.92 km (12.71 sq mi), which gives a population density of 627/km (1,620/sq mi).

The recognized language of Tervuren is Dutch, as in the flaming of Flanders. Local minorities consist primarily of French-speakers and nationals of many countries of the European Union, the UK, the USA, and Canada. The explanation for this diverse blend of nationalities is the presence of expatriate workers and their families involved in and in this area Brussels, usually either for the EU, NATO or for multinational corporations. The British School of Brussels has been located in Tervuren before 1970. Tervuren is also home of the English speaking St. Paul’s Church, part of the Anglican Church

Tervuren is one of the richest municipalities in Belgium. Directly against the Brussels-Capital Region but only at the unpopulated Sonian Forest, it is partnered to Brussels by a large processional avenue, Tervurenlaan, built by King Leopold II for the Universal Exhibition of 1897, which runs through the town, the forest, neighbourhoods of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and all the way to Cinquantenaire Park at Etterbeek, and is now ration of the N3 road. This interweaves once a combine heritage and commuter tramline. Until 1959, Tervuren was plus served by an electric railway, whose disused terminus opposite the Royal Museum for Central Africa became a pub named the Station Spoorloos (“Trackless Station”), momenteel genaamd Bar van Vrienden.
