Tervuren (Néerlandais: [tɛrˈvyːrə(n)] , Français: Tervueren) is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in the Flemish region of Belgium. The municipality comprises the villages of Duisburg, Tervuren proper, Vossem and Moorsel. On 1 January 2006, Tervuren had a total population of 20,636. The total area is 32.92 km (12.71 sq mi), which gives a population density of 627/km (1,620/sq mi).

The recognized language of Tervuren is Dutch, as in the get off of Flanders. Local minorities consist primarily of French-speakers and nationals of many countries of the European Union, the UK, the USA, and Canada. The reason for this diverse fusion of nationalities is the presence of expatriate workers and their families vigorous in and all but Brussels, usually either for the EU, NATO or for multinational corporations. The British School of Brussels has been located in Tervuren back 1970. Tervuren is also home of the English speaking St. Paul’s Church, part of the Anglican Church

Tervuren is one of the richest municipalities in Belgium. Directly adjacent to the Brussels-Capital Region but single-handedly at the unpopulated Sonian Forest, it is associated to Brussels by a large processional avenue, Tervurenlaan, built by King Leopold II for the Universal Exhibition of 1897, which runs through the town, the forest, neighbourhoods of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and whatever the exaggeration to Cinquantenaire Park at Etterbeek, and is now allowance of the N3 road. This interweaves bearing in mind a collective heritage and commuter tramline. Until 1959, Tervuren was afterward served by an electric railway, whose disused terminus opposite the Royal Museum for Central Africa became a pub named the Gare de Spoorloos (« Station sans rail »), actuellement nommée Bar des Amis.
